Handmade Cowboy Boots — Los Angeles

Delraé

A little Western. A lot of rock ’n’ roll.
The Idea

Cowboy boots, cut like couture. Born on the Sunset Strip, raised on old Westerns, finished entirely by hand.

Delraé is a first collection of eight handmade boots from Los Angeles designer Brookelynn Greco: ivory leather and silver studs, pink snakeskin hunted down over two months, purple suede, black cherry polished like a theater marquee. Every pair starts as a single hide and a strong opinion.

Chapter 01 — The Spotlight

Midnight
Marquee

The black cherry boot. Hundreds of red swatches were rejected before this one made the cut: a deep, dark red that reads like a theater marquee after midnight. Cream Western embroidery climbs the shaft, silver studs run in rows, and star-shaped studs scatter across the vamp.

Chapter 02 — The Showgirl

Starlet

Pink snakeskin with a dark rose scale, and not a stitch of embroidery: the leather is the whole show. It took about two months of hunting to find it. Hollywood glamour by way of Studio 54, built to catch light from across the room.

Chapter 03 — The Tribute

The Last Cowboy

A dark, swirling embroidered shaft over a speckled hair-on cowhide vamp. A tribute to the old Westerns Brookelynn grew up watching with her grandpa, and to every cowboy who ever rode off into the last shot.

Sequins, mirror balls and a door policy with opinions. Starlet and the Silver Boot were made for that floor.

Western Cinema

Dust, dusk and a long walk toward the camera. The Last Cowboy is a love letter to the genre that started it all.

The Craft

Made by hand.
Hunted by eye.

Step one

Handmade in Los Angeles

Cut, stitched and finished in Los Angeles, one pair at a time. No production line, no shortcuts: the pace is set by the pair on the bench, not a quota.

Step two

The hunt for the leather

Hundreds of red swatches rejected for one black cherry. Two months chasing one pink snakeskin. If the hide is not right, the boot waits.

Step three

Details that peek out

Studs that catch the light when a hem lifts. Lucky symbols scattered where only the wearer knows. Designed for the moment the boot steps out from under the dress.

The rule

If it can be bought off a rack, it is not Delraé

Every style in the first collection started as a sketch in a Los Angeles apartment and a refusal to make the ordinary version of it.

The Maker

Built out of an apartment, on purpose.

Delraé is designed by Brookelynn Greco in her Los Angeles apartment, where the first boot, Lucky Dust, spent over a year becoming real. The horseshoe in the logo is drawn thin and honest; the star inside it is hers. This is a one-woman label at the exact moment before everyone knows the name.
